Meal Plan – May 22nd – May 28th

  • Sunday – Dinner: Herbed Turkey Burgers , Corn on the Cob, Baked Onion Rings, and watermelon … Great summertime meal. I am looking forward to making these burgers on the grill, as we had to take things inside tonight when the weather turned on us. I will not be making the onion rings again. They were not good, and I’d rather skip the onion rings than eat this type of low calorie version.



  • Tuesday – Dinner: Buffalo Chicken Salads … This is one of our favorite quick, and relatively light, meals. I toss a mix of vegetables (usually a combination of bell peppers, tomatoes, black olives, corn, celery, carrots, and/or green onions) with romaine and light blue cheese dressing and top with chicken marinated in buffalo sauce.


  • Wednesday – Dinner: Personal Pizza Buffet from Bennolli’s Hand-Made Pizza: The Wisconsin, Pizza Margherita, & Taco Bennoilli … Last night sealed that this local take-out place needs to be our go to for non-homemade pizza. A crust that has a great crunch, but also has some bite to it as well. The toppings are really fresh and added generously for a great overall flavor. We didn’t order them last night, but have had their wings as well, and we pleased with them. Carter ate 4 pieces. If that’s not an endorsement, I don’t know what is.


  • Thursday – Dinner: Leftovers/Salad


  • Friday – Dinner: Fish Tacos with Chipotle Sauce and Cilantro Slaw with Chips, Guacamole, Almost Famous Corn Salsa, Restaurant Style Salsa, and Mango Margaritas with Spicy Salt … Fantastic!
